Easter weekend here in Devon was one of the hottest to date. So, we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and went to spend our Easter at Lydford Gorge, located in Dartmoor! Full of beautiful sights, walking paths, waterfalls and the Devil’s Cauldron, this gorge is part of the National Trust and well worth a visit. Our plan was to arrive at opening. However, our GPS decided to take us on a little adventure of its own! We ended up half an hour away, smack dab in the middle of Dartmoor National Park! We hopped out of the car, realized our mistake, asked for directions and were told we were MILES away! Haha, we were way off! They asked if we followed any sign postings and it didn’t even occur to us! We are too trusting in technology that’s for sure. But, we couldn’t complain, the drive was beautiful…
During our day we decided to put our DJI Osmo Pocket to the test and create a little video to share. Wanting to be more creative and film more of our life and adventures, check out my stepping out of my comfort zone post, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to practice! I do think my videos are getting better!
Easter at Lydford Gorge did not disappoint and we had a blast using the Pocket and spending some quality time in nature!
